Online betting at Unibet is fast and easy – especially once you understand how your betting slip works. Step by step instructions on how to place a bet.
To place a bet. Simply click on one of the odds from the event/odds list. Your bet appears on a betting slip, with event details, odds and a field where you enter your stake.
To add more bets. Simply keep clicking events in the odds list. They'll automatically be added to the betting slip.
To remove bets. Click on the waste bin beside the stake field.
Combination bets. The different combination bets that can be made from your single bets automatically appear below the single events you've chosen. If you've chosen any Bankers, only combinations containing those Bankers are listed.
Includes & Bankers. Click here to select your Bankers (the events you're certain you are going to win on and want to include in every combination). This is also where you choose your Includes (events you want added to separate combinations).
The minimum stake per accumulator is 1 GBP/SEK/NOK/DKK/PLN/EUR/USD/CHF/CAD/CZK/EEK/HRK/HUF
There’s no set maximum stake, but there is a maximum amount that you can win on any one event. That amount varies depending on what kind of betting event it is. You have the opportunity to send the amount of your bet that exceeds the win limit for manual approval, but there are no guarantees that it will be approved.
Click on an event in the list. A new list with selected bets within that event will appear. Click on the odds for the bet that grabs you and your selection gets added to your betting slip (on the right hand side of your screen). If you want to create a combination bet, simply click on new bets within the same event, or in new ones if you like.
When you’re happy with your picks, select your stake and the type(s) of bet(s) you want to make. Click “Place bet”. The cost and potential payouts will be listed. Now click “Confirm bet”.
That’s it. When your bets have been accepted, a receipt will appear on the screen. All your current and settled bets are listed in “Betting history”.
Single bet:
The simplest one, where you pick 1 outcome of 1 event and hope the result goes your way. You have the opportunity to win the odds x your wager.
Combination bets:
Create a combination bet—and potentially better payday—by adding additional bets to your coupon. If all results are in your favour, the combined odds are multiplied by your stake for the total win. To create a combination bet, just click on the odds of the event you want to add. You can add up to 12 events.
The system portion of your coupon is another way to keep your single and combination bets organised. As you add events to your coupon, the area below it will list how many combination bets are possible, and what kind.
For instance, if you choose 8 separate events, the system area will list all the different combination bets available and how many winning combinations are possible within your 8 selections. You can then bet on them but remember, your stake is multiplied by the number of possible outcomes for that selection. So if you wanted to bet 'sixfolds' (combinations of 6), your stake would be multiplied by 28, as that's how many winning combinations of 6 are possible within your 8 selections.
The Trixie and Yankee are forms of combination bet.
A Trixie consists of 3 matches, with 3 doubles and 1 treble, making a total of 4 bets. The minimum stake is 1 unit of your currency, making a total of 4 units.
A Yankee consists of 4 matches, with 6 doubles, 4 trebles and 1 fourfold, totaling 11 bets. The minimum stake is 1 unit, making a total of 11 units.
Handicaps are types of bets where special conditions are set for declaring the winner of a game for betting purposes—regardless of the real outcome of the game. Unibet offers 3 different types of handicap betting: Line Handicap, 3-Way Handicap and Asian Handicap.
Asian Handicap betting
Asian Handicap is a form of betting where one of the teams, the underdog, is given a head start in order to balance a match. This means that they are given a virtual lead in the match whilst the favourites are given the equivalent minus handicap, for instance -0.5 and 0.5.
If you place a bet on -0.5 (also known as 'half ball'), your bet will bet will be successful if your team wins. If you place a bet on 0,5 your bet will be successful if your team wins or the match ends with a draw.
Line Handicap betting
If a bet has been placed on the event Chelsea -1.5 vs Watford +1.5 and the fulltime score is 3-0 the following will apply:Bets on Chelsea will pay out; even though Chelsea are penalised they count as the winning bet as 3 minus 1.5 is 1.5 which equals 1.5 goal win.
3-Way Handicap betting
In a 3-Way Handicap, the line is set so that there can also be a draw outcome, giving you 3 potential bets. Example:
Chelsea - Werder Bremen (0-1). If the result is 1-0, the outcome of the bet is a draw,1-1; if the result is 2-0, the outcome of the bet is a home win, 2-1; If the result is 1-1 or 0-1, the outcome of the bet is an away win, 1-2 or 0-2.
Our computer system does not accept combination bets on same match/event or when the same team appears twice in the same combination bet. The circumstances can change dramatically after the first game, e.g., a team at the bottom of the table could lose their second last game and be relegated. This means that the last game will lose importance for that team.
Sometimes we get new information that affects what a fair outcome on a bet will be. When that happens, we adjust the odds accordingly. To avoid having your whole bet rejected during an odds change, it is always wise to bet up to the maximum amount you’re allowed to win on that event, and send the rest for approval.
Bankers are events that you are certain that you are going to win on. When you choose some event/s to be your Banker/s, only combinations containing the selected Banker/s will be placed.
Example: you have selected 4 events in your bet slip. With no Bankers chosen, you will be offered a chance to place 1 standard fourfold combination (containing all 4 events), 6 doubles and 4 trebles. When you have selected 1 Banker however, you will be offered to place only 1 standard fourfold combination, 3 doubles and 3 trebles - only the combinations in which your Banker participates.
Includes are the single bets you want included in your combination bets. If you don’t want an event to be included, click “Show Includes.” The event will have a box with a check mark in it—click to de-select it. That will make the event available separately as a single bet, but remove it from all possible combinations.
