Backgammon is a multi-player game where the skill of the player is the predominant factor over the outcome of the game.
Who do I play against?
You play against other registered players within the backgammon network. Where you choose who you play against – just go to the lobby and challenge someone waiting there or select a challenge and wait for someone to come along and accept it.
There are three game modes, single games, match series and tournaments. Single games are fast games decided over one round while match series are decided over a number of games. Tournaments have a fixed starting time which is listed in the tournament section.You can try out a few play money games to understand and learn the game before you aim to win some money.
If you win games it will go up and if you lose it will go down, this way you can meet players of the same skill as yourself. The colours for the different ratings are shown in the lobby.
Yes, just click on create a table. To watch others play, just click on the eye symbol to the right of the game.
