Multi-table tournaments (MTTs) are the most popular way to play poker today. Big fields and even bigger prize pools make them attractive to both casual and serious players.
Every player that enters a poker tournament pays the same buy-in and are assigned the same number of chips. Once the tournament starts, everyone plays until a single player has all the chips in play and is declared the winner. The prize pool is then distributed to the top percentage of players that survived the longest, on a sliding scale.
For example, if 100 players enter a €10 tournament, there would be €1,000 in the prize pool that would be distributed between the top 17 players with the winner receiving the biggest percentage of the prize pool.
Multi-Table tournaments come in all shapes and sizes and at Unibet Poker we offer No Limit Texas Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha tournaments with 6 players or 9 players per table and in a variety of formats.
make an addon, usually for the same price as the buy-in, where they receive an additional stack of chips. The addon is usually twice the chips in the starting stack. In the example above, the addon would be 6000 chips.
